Serving more than 28,000 customers and visitors, Glasgow City Council’s operating environment requires an efficient, effective facilities management service. ACCESS provides this, with the majority of delivery carried out directly by Council organisations.
If clients need assistance from either ICT or property services, a single ‘phone number connects them to the ACCESS Enterprise Service Centre. All enquiries about property issues and services are routed to one of our three area facilities management teams. The task is then allocated to the appropriate delivery contractor and the progress and performance of each job monitored through to successful completion.
The ACCESS team also drives the Planned Preventative Maintenance regime, issuing work orders for specific routine requirements. Delivery performance is measured using our bespoke Property Information Management System to provide a comprehensive view of work progress and success.
Quality audits are undertaken by our facilities management teams, to ensure that service levels are maintained at an acceptable level. Support for smaller works is provided by our dedicated team of technicians.
